Phone With Removable Batteries

Devices With Removable Batteries Will Come Back?

The European Union Parliament is reportedly coming with a new regulation that all portable devices must have a removable battery.

The plan includes batteries of nearly every size, from portable batteries–phones, tablets and laptops, to electric vehicle batteries to industrial batteries. If passed, then manufacturers will have 3 and half years to rework their portable devices so that users can easily remove and install them.

Previously, removable batteries were normal in Smartphone lines with various series belonging to world-renowned Android cell phone manufacturers.

Over time, companies prefer to use embedded batteries for various reasons, such as production costs so that they can withstand splashes of water.

Even though cell phones on the market today can adopt the removable battery concept again, this will be a challenge for folding screen cell phones.

This is because folding screen phones use two separate batteries, where each battery also functions as a balance between space and weight.

These two batteries are also connected with a ribbon cable and it is possible that not all users can easily remove and install the battery.

However, 3 and half years is still a long time for the company to think of a solution. Keep in mind; this is when the law is approved by the European Union Parliament and Council.

Iphone uses Sony Camera Sensor

Iphone uses Sony’s Camera Sensor

Apple’s CEO has publicly stated that they have been using Sony’s image sensors in their iPhones. This was announced by Tim Cook through his Twitter account, as part of a supplier tour in Japan.

They claim to have partnered with Sony for over a decade to create the world’s leading camera sensor for the iPhone. They also thanked the CEO of Sony, Kenichiro Yoshida, for showing him around the facilities in Kumamoto.

Apple doesn’t reveal much about the specifications of their hardware components in each iPhone. Cook has confirmed Sony’s camera sensors have been in use for more than a decade.

Apple’s site also tends to only list iPhone camera specifications such as resolution, aperture, and field of view, rather than the specific components used.

Over the years, reports and rumors abounded about Apple’s use of Sony’s hardware. A 2015 Wall Street Journal report said Apple used two Sony sensors in the iPhone 6.

Sony is also considered to be the leader in the image sensor market, with 44 percent market share for CMOS image sensors last year, according to the Nikkei Asia report.

Tim Cook’s visit to Sony also hinted that the partnership between the two companies would not end any time soon. Nikkei Asia reports, there are some hints the company is working on the upcoming iPhone.

Sony is developing a new image sensor that uses new semiconductor architecture, to capture more light and reduce overexposure and underexposure.

This new sensor is expected to be present in the next generation of Apple phones, as well as several other Smartphone manufacturers.

Phone With a Flying Camera

Vivo is increasingly creating mobile phones with the latest anti-mainstream designs and innovations.

As recently, vendors from China are known to have developed. Smartphone design with a camera that can fly.

The technology is called a flying camera. if you look at the design, the face of the cellphone is like a smartphone in general. However, there is a clear difference at the top of the screen.

In that section, it is shown that there is a square-shaped module with four propellers that can come out and fly like a drone device. It has embedded with two cameras. One of the two cameras is placed at the top. Then one other camera is on the front.

The camera module can be removed completely by means of a bracket that snaps into the body. If you don’t want to take pictures, the bracket module can be put back into a special compartment that is on the top side of the Cellphone body. Uniquely, this flying camera module is also equipped with a battery component embedded in it. This flying camera module is made to make it easier for users to photograph objects that are quite far away.

When in the air, this flying camera is said to be able to change position so that the shots look ideal. this flying camera is also said to be able to determine different angles at which the camera will capture an object. If true, then Vivo is the first mobile phone manufacturer to have flying camera technology stored in the Smartphone itself. However, it is uncertain whether the cameras in the module will all act as image capturers, or whether some are actually special sensors. However, it is not yet certain that the design of this device will actually materialize in the form of a finished product.

Will There be Teleportation Technology in The Future

Will There be Teleportation Technology in The Future?

NASA itself is also developing a special teleportation vehicle called the “EM Drive Propulsion System”.

Roger Shawyer, an engineer from England who first initiated the concept of this technology. This is because the ‘EM Drive Propulsion System’ has a design capable of making the propulsion engine ‘utilize’ light particles and create microwaves in a small cone-shaped space.

“A booster engine will be located at the tip of the cone, which will drive the engine to ‘devour’ light particles. From there, the probe will fly at a power ratio of 1.2 millinewtons per kilowatt to approximately 0.1 millinewtons per kilowatt,” said Shawyer. .

If this vehicle is successfully tested, the astronauts’ space journey will be short. “Humans can go to the moon in four months, to Mars only takes four weeks with this vehicle,” he continued.

Indeed, Shawyer says the project is still a long way off. Even so, he confirmed that the systems and technology that support the vehicle still show consistent development.

First Printhead from Epson

Epson announced a textile printer that can be applied directly to cloth, the Monna Lisa ML-64000. This printer targets the digital textile market, which is seizing opportunities in the fields of fashion, home textiles and sportswear.

The printer with the first 64 printheads from Epson is claimed to have a maximum print speed of 779 square meters per hour (600×600 dpi–2 passes). This technology is also adopted to correct the position of the ejecting dot with a few micron resolution.

Head of Commercial and Industrial Epson Indonesia, Lina Mariani, said the ML-64000 was developed to meet the needs of the industrial textile market, supported by 64 PrecisionCore printheads to achieve the highest productivity in Epson’s revolutionary direct-to-fabric printer series.

Lina says it is an ideal choice for textile printing businesses as the ML-64000 meets the flexible demands of small to large orders on a wide variety of fabrics while catering to a wide spectrum of design complexities.

The Epson Monna Lisa ML-64000 is controlled by a new series of printheads, which are said to be capable of presenting the innovative PrecisionCore technology.

Haters Comment

Youtube’s Attempt to Punish Haters For Toxic Comments

YouTube has announced their latest effort to reduce toxic and hate comments on the platform which often makes the mentality of creators and users down.

Google itself has previously introduced features such as displaying a warning to someone, if they want to post such a comment, so that the haters are expected to consider their comments before commenting.

YouTube said it would send a notification to the sender of the bad comment that had been removed, for violating server rules. If a user continues to post toxic comments despite a warning, YouTube will ban them from uploading YouTube comments for 24 hours.

The company claims to have tested this feature prior to launch, and found it and the “timeout” measure to be materially successful.

Hate comment detection is currently only available in English. However, the streaming service plans to feature more languages in the future.

YouTube’s own goal is to protect creators from users trying to negatively impact the community through comments. It also offers more transparency to users who may have removed comments for policy violations and hopefully helps them understand our Community Guidelines.

In a post, YouTube also revealed that they were working on improving their artificial intelligence (AI) detection system.

The system is said to have removed 1.1 billion spam comments in the first half of 2022. YouTube also claims to have improved the system to better detect and remove bots, in video live chats.
